Time For Some Lincoln Riley Math

USC coach Lincoln Riley allowed former players to attend last Saturday’s practice.

It was originally billed as a special event but turned out just to be a practice and nothing else.

Riley told the former players after practice that it was special to have “85” of them attend.

But Tuesday, when he spoke to the media, Riley said “150” former players were at the practice.

So was it 85 or 150?

Based on this picture from the practice, it looks like neither figure was accurate.

  2. Since the media and fans are now prohibited from watching practices, allowing former Trojans to attend practice is special. I bet some of them get hit up for a donation.

  3. when I lived in California and Pete was coach, he had a special invite to former players and boosters to watch a closed morning practice and then he hosted a luncheon while fielding questions about the practice and possible lineup. He did not eat, but drank Mountain Dew and chewed bubblegum.
