USC Notes: Double Commitment Thursday

Luke Wafle, a top 85 player from Princeton, N.J., committed to USC today. The defensive end chose the Trojans over Ohio State.

He is the No. 6-ranked defensive end in the nation by Rivals.

  • EJ Neal, a 6-5 guard from Sacramento State, committed to USC. He averaged 8 points per game last season. Neal previously played at Idaho and City College of San Francisco.

  1. Luke Wafle is another huge commitment. USC wanted him badly and paid for him. This is one of the best defensive classes ever. Great interior lineman in Tom Tom, Winfield and others, a couple of great edge rushers including Wafle, a great linebacker in Talanoa Ili, and three lock down cornerbacks. I like Madden Riordian at safety too. We also recruited a great offensive line and good running backs. This is how you win Championships.

    C’mon Scott say something positive. We are doing the right things, just a few years late.

  4. This recruiting class across every level is a PC class of 2003-2005 era. Top CA recruits and #1 recruits in other regions. LR don’t mess it up. I always admired Brown but, for some reason, I gave ‘aren’t I clever?’, condescending, smarty pants answers to every question she asked.       1. eric — I think it’s obvious from the way in which the repub senate is trying to end the house’s tax cuts for overtime, tips and seniors that the repubs aren’t the ‘party of the people’ any more than the dems. It’s also strange that Tulsi Gabbard is the only one being cut out of security meetings when she plainly wants to avoid a 3rd World War….and even stranger that Kristi Noem is SO “alert & conscious” that she can’t hold a press conference….or even appear on camera for 30 seconds to reassure the American people she’s okay. But—in spite of all of that — I think there are some sane people in this administration who are doing all they can to avoid forcing us to “brace ourselves” for nuclear war. Let’s pray they succeed —- so we can all go on making observations on Inside USC.
