Lincoln Riley was asked by On3sports if he would comment on the USC-Notre Dame series. “We will at the appropriate time,” Riley said. Typically tone-deaf response from the Muleshoe robot who sees no value in the rivalry. Kiki Iriafen was named WNBA rookie of the month for May after she averaged 13.9 PPG, 10.1 RPG, and 1.0 APG for the Washington Mystics. Safe to say … Continue reading USC Notes: Riley Continues Tone Deaf Tour
Hey guys, I might be trying to end the Notre Dame series and I didn’t want to play LSU last year. But look at how nice my new football fortress will be when it is finished. The best part is it will have a parking space right near the door and I won’t even have to see anyone. I already don’t talk to anyone. It’s … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Football Fortress Makes Progress
How ridiculous is the transfer portal? High Point guard Kezza Giffa committed to USC and three days later decommitted. Where are all those basketball recruiting experts who said USC getting Giffa was significant now that he decommitted? They go silent. Just like the ones in football when something similar happens. And how many of the players that Eric Musselman is bringing in next season will … Continue reading The Transfer Portal Is A Joke, Again (And Again)

A better prospect might be the Board of Trustees: There are 37 voting trustees and 38 life trustees. One of the life trustees is Tamara Hughes Gustavson, the daughter of the late … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Who Can Step Up To Save Notre Dame Series?
Oregon State routed USC, 9-0, today to end the Trojans’ season. USC was outscored, 23-1, in its final two games of the season. It got completely dominated in all areas but I was surprised how bad the defense looked the final two games. Oregon State will now host Florida State in the Super Regional. USC will prepare for next season at the new Dedeaux Field. … Continue reading USC Goes Down Meekly In Corvallis
The latest ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame includes former USC players Jeff Bregel, Mark Carrier and Taylor Mays. Bregel and Carrier have been on previous ballots while Mays is a newcomer. Carrier is the obvious choice among the trio because he was a Thorpe Award winner and led the Pac-10 with seven interceptions in 1989. By comparison, Mays had five interceptions in … Continue reading Taylor Mays Joins Jeff Bregel, Mark Carrier On College Football Hall Of Fame Ballot
