USC will open its basketball season on Nov. 3rd against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo at the Galen Center according to Rocco Miller.

Between this and the Illinois State game at Intuit Dome, Eric Musselman is really beefing up the schedule.

    1. KAM: Cowardly Sparrow Gabby prefers speech like this! A Kentucky school board chairman has resigned after social media posts were uncovered in which he allegedly called for people to “shoot Republicans.”

      Jeffrey Miller had been the chairman of Erlanger-Elsmere Independent School District since 2016, and the post in question was made in 2018.

      The post was a reaction to a mass shooting in Jacksonville. Miller wrote, “i’d be ok with the NRA if these psychos were just once the victims of a mass shooting. WINK WINK: please shoot republicans.”

      DON: All the Mainstream Moderate caring  Democrat educrats thought wanting Republicans shot dead was acceptable and  allowed him to stay on for 7 more years!

  3. KAM: Paul Finebaum says USC’s head coach, Lincoln Riley, has the hottest seat this season. During a Thursday morning visit on ESPN’s “Get Up”, Finebaum mentioned that this could be a make or break season for Riley’s tenure with the USC Trojans.

    “And you asked the question, why? Because he has simply underperformed. He had a pretty decent first year, but since then, it has been very rocky. And quite frankly, I think he would already be gone if it wasn’t for about an $80 million buyout. Even for Southern Cal, that might be too much money,” said Finebaum.

    Sir Lincoln of Riley is entering his fourth season with the Trojans, coming off of his worst season, with the team finishing 7-6 in 2024. When Riley joined the program, they were a top contender in the weak Pac-12. Now, it’s a dogfight in the much more competitive Big Ten.

My sense is that the audience also related to an extremely imperfect fellow who went to work every day, took care of his family, adored his daughter, and his wife, despite calling her a dingbat, put a roof over the head of a son-in-law who wouldn’t earn a penny, and treated everyone decently despite using crude epithets.
