USC Saturday Buzz: An All-Too Familiar Scene Friday Night

The Salute to Troy kickoff dinner was last night and, as usual, Lincoln Riley declined to host the event.

John Robinson hosted. Pete Carroll hosted. Lane Kiffin hosted. Steve Sarkisian infamously hosted. But never Riley. He doesn’t dirty his hands.

The news was freshman defensive end Jahkeem Stewart was walking around the event with a boot on his ankle/foot. Riley’s neglected to mention that this week.

There was an interesting contrast as a concert was being held in Alumni Park for the USC students and then some of the much-older Salute to Troy crowd would wander by after the dinner. It was like a scene from “Night of the Living Dead.”

KAM: Bad news for the Global Warmist Cult, the Environmental Protection Agency has officially proposed ending its regulation of greenhouse gases for new cars, trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. Specifically, it proposed rescinding the landmark 2009 Endangerment Finding, which identified greenhouse gases as contributors to Global Warming and, therefore, pollutants and a danger to human health and wellbeing under the Clean Air Act. The latter is the basis of all greenhouse gas regulation since.

    1. Missouri State is picked to finish dead last in the [not too] prestigious Conference USA [behind the Delaware Blue Hens and the Sam Huston Bearcats].

      On the other hand, they probably have better coaches— virtually every one on their staff coached under Bobby Petrino.

      USC might face some difficulty in this one.

      2. Riley loves playing Mizzu St, he played them when he was at Oklahoma.

        Hell, Riley would play Idaho State, Sacramento State, and Portland State if he could get away with it.

      1. btw, the SAME federal judges who are now taking “concerned citizen” cases aimed at blocking Trump’s efforts to fire superfluous federal employees and deport illegal immigrants with felony convictions []for child molestation] are the ones who, earlier, said they wouldn’t look at election fraud cases because voters and candidates didn’t have standing to sue….
