Miller Moss Drops The Truth

Miller Moss accurately described the difference between playing in Southern California and a one-horse town like Louisville.

And who will get upset? USC fanboys of course.

“I played my earlier parts of college football in a place that has a lot of different attractions around the city, and so it is not a place that is necessarily focused on the college team in that area,” Moss said. “So, I think being in a situation where that is the case is really, really cool. To see the support from the city and how they get up to support the team has been awesome.”

What did he say that was wrong? Nothing. Look at UCLA football attendance. It’s a lot easier to capture fans’ attention in Louisville.

But the truth is often what makes the fanboys uneasy.

  1. By the time, I think, the Washington game came along, Miller was lobbing balls over the heads of receivers who were only 12 yards out… something was wrong with his throwing arm. That’s on the o-line …not lack of crowd support.

    1. btw, Miller had 2 chances to win that game in the 4th quarter —- his arm wouldn’t allow it….and the ball went over to Washington on 2 promising drives.

  2. KAM: President of Northwestern University Resigns Amid Clashes with Trump Agenda!

In July, Mainstream Moderate Democrat NW President Michael Schill announced university plans to cut 425 positions following the Trump administration’s announcement that it was freezing $790 million earmarked for the school.

The school, located in the liberal Democrat suburban Chicago enclave of Evanston, Illinois, has also come under fire for its concessions to Murderous Muslim Hamas and for tolerating anti-semitic activity on its campus.

Last year, Mr. Schill testified before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, where his handling of antisemitism during campus protests over the war in Gaza was questioned.

The Trump administration has argued that the school is still not aggressive enough in protecting Jewish students from harassment. And Jewish groups including the Anti-Defamation League and the Brandeis Center have called for Mr. Schill to resign, faulting him for negotiating with the antisemite Democrat protesters.

DON: Last month, writer, researcher, and filmmaker Christopher Rufo exposed Schill’s continuing DEI regime and possible violation of federal civil rights law. Will USC hire this DEI Democrat to take Carol Folt’s place?

  3. KAM: I know Mainstream Moderate Democrats who believe that the assassination attempt was faked and that Trump was not shot. When I ask how did Corey Contempore die, not a single one of them knew who he was.

DON: These are Mainstream Moderate Democrats who consider themselves very savvy news consumers.

  4. KAM: Black Comedian Paints Himself White, Goes to NASCAR, Doesn’t Find What He Expects.

Druski [whose real name is Andrew Desbordes] is getting justified kudos for his astonishingly convincing disguise, which he used to go to a NASCAR race and pose as a rambunctious Southern white guy, but the really impressive work here seems to have been done by his makeup artist (or more likely, makeup team).

A clear cultural agenda mars the performance of Druski himself. Some people have asked if Druski’s act means that blackface is no longer the heinous crime it has been portrayed as being over the last few years, but the larger question is why it is culturally acceptable on the left to make fun of Southern white men but of no other group of people anywhere on the planet.

And it gets worse. The Post notes that at one point, the white redneck Druski “disgustedly spits at the feet of a black man walking past him while leaning against the hood of a car.”

Nor is that all: “In another moment, he stops his truck beside a black man and asks him ‘You lost, boy?’ When the man tells him he’s going to the NASCAR race, Druski leans out the window, spits, and tell him to ‘find something safe to do, boy.’”

Now, this video shows Druski’s character interacting with a good many NASCAR fans, and yet Druski himself is the only one who is racist.

Druski can only show himself being racist toward black people, and only when no one else is around.

DON: He is apparently trying hard to show NASCAR fans, Southern white Americans, and MAGA patriots in general as a bunch of racists, but he can’t find anyone to flesh out the stereotype, so he has to do it himself. Democrats are good at that.

  5. Scooter,

That is a fair assessment. Moss should have known this when he signed with SC though. But, in fairness, when Carroll was in town, almost the entire city was wrapped up with SC football. Winning will do that to the city.

  6. What do they have for entertainment in Kentucky. You can visit the Jack Daniels Distillery or perhaps a race horse breeding farm. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon but what do you do the next week?

  7. Who cares what this loser has to say, he fled, couldn’t cut it here. Why is he even talking about LA and USC, and why is there a post about what said? You have to earn fan support here, shouldn’t be news to anyone. He played bad, arm gave out on him, and started losing games and he wants fans to blindly support him? Please. Enjoy Kentucky and keep LA out your mouth.

  8. Thanks So Cal. I wondered what happened to that classic photo. An expression of total panic. Never saw that look on John McKay. I was thinking the photo should be shown throughout game week. But he wasn’t wearing a Bruin Blue hat. Even Clay knew better than that. What a p u s s y color.

  9. KAM: Illinois football is catching on after their marvelous season last year

DON: Like the cliche says, “Build it and they will come”

  10. DON: I get a kick out of Southern Californians always mouthing off how they got it made because they have so many attractions available

KAM: In Kentucky for example there is greenery everywhere, beautiful pastures, and enough parks and hiking trails to keep you busy the year round. Oh, and about now their autumn show is just getting warmed up

DON: And the people are nicer. That’s nothing against Southern Californians mind you

And one more thing. Wiley won’t be catching up to my SC record tomorrow

  12. KAM: It is surprising how Wiley said he had wonderful conversations with Ton-o-Hel the last few years

DON: What did they talk about, how to win at SC?

KAM: If so then apparenly Wiley is a Helton disciple because they have the same Trojan records

  13. DON: I never met Helton but he strikes me as a gentleman. However he was an “Aw Shucks” guy in big city L.A. and it didn’t fit.

KAM: That and the fact he won only 2/3 of his games, unheard of by SC’s standards set by early 2000s Carrot

DON: But the guy can schmooze and he always lands on his feet; that Georgia school just gave him a 4-year extension

KAM: Maybe Leo Durocher got it wrong with his theme of “Nice guys finish last”

  14. KAM: The only thing I’m interested in is how the SC crowd will react to him, but since he aways comes out with the team there probably will be only Trojan booing

DON: But the guy is a Trojan through and through, coaching SC for 11 years, 7 as the head coach. He described SC as an “extraordinary experience”
