Some people are making this game out like it’s the most important game of the Lincoln Riley Era.
Do they forget if USC had beaten Utah in the 2022 Pac-12 championship game, the Trojans would have gone to the College Football Playoff?
Anyways, I’m not sold on Michigan or USC.
That makes today’s game a toss up.
How do you judge it? Pick your score in the comments.
Men of Troy – 31
wolverines – 27
Trojan D gives up some big plays, but hopefully not enough to lose

I believe USC will get out front early….we just can’t let them back in [especially in the final quarter —it would end our 2026 class and Lincoln’s credibility] …

It is an incredibly important game. If USC loses this one, they likely lose 3 more and post a 7-5 record. All the momentum for the program will be lost and they will have a tough time holding onto the recruiting class. But I think they will win.
USC 24 to 20 over Michigan.

I don’t think it’ll go that way, but really hope you’re right!!

Here’s the truth –whether you like it or not — Big Ten officiating is beyond bad. The refs called TWO pass interferences against Washington yesterday —that resulted in Rutgers’ TD’s. Neither call was justified. For USC to win they will have to overcome cooked officiating….

Dear Scott,
This is bigger than the Utah game cuz of where the program stands as of this minute. Things still looked bright after the Utah loss …for Lincoln, Caleb…and the team [hey –it was before Tulane]! Things don’t look nearly as bright at this moment….but they’ll get bright real fast if we win….

DON:: SC is suspect after its Illinois experience. The Trojans made the Illini quarterback look like Joe Montana by giving him plenty of time to throw, whereas Ohio St is pressuring the guy now and forced him into an interception
KAM: Maybe we don’t want to compare SC’s effort to Ohio St’s

DON: Meanwhile ucla just used a trick play and is leading the Michigan St Spartans 10-7. After last week’s Penn St game, I’m now interested in the bruins
KAM: College football is so popular. Even though the 2 teams are not going anywhere this year, there is a capacity crowd at Spartan Stadium

The bruins are unbeatable now that Foster is outta the picture….

DON: There are no reports of any of Michigan’s players suffering from food poisoning at this morning’s meal
KAM: I’d hate to see another game influenced by spoiled chicken

Michigan grinds out a win the old fashioned way, they’ll run and run and run.
Riley will also have poor clock management, waste timeouts and not have 11 men on the filed for at least one special teams play.

I am honestly having a hard time imagining Michigan’s offense scoring more points than ours —-they got to Miller last year….it should be a little harder to get to Jayden…. and that small difference should BE the difference…

What a difference a coach makes…and immediately.
At Michigan St, Gutties 38, spartans 13, middle of fourth quarter.

Here’s how I would put it: what a difference getting rid of Foster makes…

Just saw ucla’s skipper interviewed. Ton’s of energy, a “don’t quite” mentality, he gets the most out of his guys.
LR has a coordinator’s mentality. And I think that is what we see.
Leinart went off today, challenging the Trojans to win the LOS and not get pushed around.

Riley had us ready to play physical football against Utah [even though we lost 2 close ones in the regular season] and against LSU…..

So Cal — I think once a person has mentioned they wish another person had been shot in the face rather than the neck, we pretty much don’t give a phuck about making them cry….
