USC Just Can’t Get Out Of Its Own Way This Week

Can we just get through the week by just enjoying the USC-Notre Dame rivalry?

Nope. Here’s USC scrubbing the Notre Dame game off its schedule for 2026 on its official website.

Why the urgency to do that? What idiot is responsible?

  1. I hope lots of big donors think twice about supporting this type of cowardice. Gone are the PC days of “Anyone, anywhere, any time!”

  2. So interesting that leading up to the election the Left screamed that it was about saving democracy and letting the people decide. But ever since Nov 5, we’ve seen what a huge lie that was. It was never about those things. It was about getting their way and since they didn’t, they will throw tantrums in the streets for the next 3 years.

  3. KAM: We are only safe here when discussing sports. But I was very upset this morning and I now have a bad stomach, when I heard SC had deleted next year’s Notre Dame game from its official schedule

DON: I would be in shock if those 2 schools can’t come to some deal

  4. DON: On second thought, Wiley has a point when he says Notre Dame is a serious obstacle in SC’s way, making it difficult to qualify for the Playoffs. You only get 2 losses or you’re out

KAM: I guess it comes down to what is more important, SC-Notre Dame or making the Playoffs?

  5. DON: Back in the days when polls decided which team was the national champion, SC and ND took turns knocking each other out of it

KAM: The out-of-conference ‘tune-up games before the league starts are for practice more than anything. But out-of-conference Notre Dame is a different animal and one to avoid as apparently some ‘in-authority’ Trojans are believing
