Morning Buzz: Seven USC Players Make NFL Combine

Seven USC player have been invited to the NFL Combine: Makai Lemon, Ja’Kobi Lane, Bishop Fitzgerald, Kamari Ramsey, Lake McRee, Eric Gentry and Anthony Lucas.

  • Now that Notre Dame is off the schedule, Lincoln Riley has become a schedule warrior, hyping the Big Ten schedule.

“These are the type of games you want,” Riley said. “These are the type of games that we came here for. We want guys to come to USC because they want to be in these games as well.”

  1. That is a lot of receiving talent to replace. Plus, Fitzgerald is the second highest ranked safety from last season. Hate to say this, but Riley almost sounds like LA mayor Karen Bass with all the platitudes…

It’s hilarious he doesn’t realize what a fool he sounds like, after dodging Notre Dame. I would ask “How could anyone be THAT stupid?”, if we didn’t see a version of it almost every day on this blog.

    1. How could anyone be that stupid, just look in the mirror. It’s clear to those with a brain, that ND is solely responsible for the temporary suspension of the rivalry.

  3. Congratulations to all of the Trojans invited to the combine. The NFL is more watchable when there are Trojans on the teams just like on the Seahawks.

Scott, are you finally coming around to the fact that USC does play one of the toughest schedules in college football in the toughest conference in college football while ND plays one of the weakest schedules so that they can get their top twelve playoff bid and don’t have to share playoff money. By the way, the ACC that let’s them participate in their conference for other sports is a wimpy conference that doesn’t ask ND to be a full time member and share revenue or get lost.

Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962
