It is disappointing that at midday Monday, USC still has not said anything about the death of Joey Browner or published an obituary.
There’s plenty of time to do social media posts mocking Oregon, but acknowledging the passing of an All-American and one of the greatest defensive backs in school history is another matter, apparently.
It’s quite a contrast to the Minnesota Vikings, who not only announced Browner’s death, but produced a lengthy obit on his accomplishments.
- Gustavo Dudamel, conductor and Music & Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, will be the commencement speaker at USC in May.
It’s not like the old days when SC welcomed past players and remembered their demise

Wow! That is very cool about Gustavo being the commencement speaker!!
Most TMB members have accompanied the LA Phil at the Hollywood Bowl at one time or another, for the past few decades.
They were great at Coachella last year.
