This is what I mentioned earlier replaces the USC spring game at the Coliseum.
It’s one hour to take pictures and get autographs with the players on their day off. No mention of Lincoln Riley. Will he be there?
USC used to hold a practice open to the public the same day as Swim with Mike, that way fans could watch practice and follow the football team over to the pool for the fundraiser. That was in a bygone era, of course.

Looks as if Wiley is throwing a bone to the fans

Scott, why are you so concerned about LR being in attendance at Fan Appreciation Day? I think that the event is for the fans to meet the players. I don’t believe that it is a coaches’ press conference. Why don’t you with your journalist credentials set up an interview with LR, other coaches and the AD, so that you can interview them directly about concerns that you raise. A journalist should want to talk to the sources of the concerns. If they turn you down, you can report on that as a negative. You can ask about what happened to George Tirebiter and the half time card stunts in the student section.

Scott show up in person?! As Wil Rogers used to say of himself, “I’m more an idea man.”

I like the idea of USC saving its best pitchers for Big Ten games. Those are the games that count. As Ali used to say “don’t shine in the gym.”
