Notes: Here’s A Power 4 Opponent With Openings To Play USC

Now that USC has spurned Texas Tech, and it has no Power 4 nonconference games until 2030, it’s worth pointing out that the Trojans and Notre Dame currently have openings on their schedules in 2028 and 2029.

The openings are early in the season, which meets Lincoln Riley’s strict rules of engagement. Notre Dame has games available for September 2nd, 2028 and September 8th, 2029.

Let’s see if common sense prevails. It usually does not.

  • Here are the odds at Bet MGM for some teams to win the national championship:

150/1—ASU

400/1—Arizona

500/1—Colorado

  3. I’d say that’s a good idea to face off against ‘the princess’ prior to the contractually agreed to re-start of 2030.

    Bring it on….what is sooo good is that ‘the princess’ was forced to ‘curtsy’ for all to see.

    1. Riley agreeing to schedule ND in 2028 or 2029 is about as likely as SLO PA-TROLL agreeing to meet real Gabby in Barstow.

        I thought Gabby said a few days back that he was going to the USC marching band pep rally today at the Palms at 2:00 and wanted to “meet up” with Scott. Instead, he spent the day trolling the blog. Once again a threat followed by a no show. That’s our Cowardly Gabby. All talk, no walk.

      3. Yup, Sane Gabby! She is the one who started all the sh*t talk. So of course she should be the one to drive.

        But that’s exactly why she’s such a keyboard warrior. Too stupid to see that.

    3. Probably true but let’s see what transpires this coming December. The assorted national suckups for ‘the princess’ have the annual con job already set for the final match-up 25th January 2027 Allegiant Stadium i.e. why ‘HRH’ is destined to get a first round ‘bye’.

      In a world of dreams run amuck imagine Troy defeating an opponent in a ‘play-in’ and then being matched up with ‘Miss Havasham’. I think Marcus Freeman is a class act, not sure he’s a great head coach but a decent guy having said that I don’t see the ease of that schedule preparing them for a brutal ‘winner take all’ format unlike the indifference towards the regular season opponents.

      We won’t know anything til’ 26th September against OR @ the Coliseum…
