The College Football Playoff is set, so now it’s time to fill out the rest of the bowl schedule.
Jerry Palm still has USC playing Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl. But Brett McMurphy has USC playing Texas A&M in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Things didn’t go so well for the Trojans the last time they played Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl, when USC lost 21-7 in 2012. In fact, USC is 0-3 in the Sun Bowl. They also lost to Michigan State, 17-16, in 1990 and TCU, 28-19, in 1998.
The Las Vegas Bowl has been a little better, as USC is 1-1. The Trojans defeated Fresno State, 45-20, in 2013 and lost to Utah, 10-6, in 2001.

Georgia Tech looked awesome against Georgia…Hopefully we get Texas A& M- their one signature win was 38-23 over LSU.

Actually, Oregon will probably play Ohio St in the next round, a tough opponent

USC will get out physical by either one of those two teams. It’s all about controlling the line of scrimmage, which is why the Trojans are only a 6-6 team.

So teams 5-8 are heavy favorites against teams 9-12. Did the college playoffs have to expand to 12 instead of 8?
