Dennis Thurman Makes College Football Hall Of Fame

Former USC defensive back Dennis Thurman was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame today.

Thurman intercepted passes in seven straight games during his USC career. Can you imagine that happening today? People wouldn’t know how to handle it.

He intercepted 11 passes in his career and also intercepted two fumbles. Thurman was a two-time All-American in 1976-77.

Now the good part: Thurman joins Marvin Powell as USC players who are in the College Football Hall of Fame but not in the USC Hall of Fame.

This is because of a dereliction of duty by USC, which has not inducted a Hall of Fame class since 2018. Blame Lynn Swann, Mike Bohn and Jen Cohen.

No player should be in the College Football Hall of Fame but not the USC Hall of Fame.

  1. How can the USC Athletic Department be that myopic? Even UCLA has a yearly induction of players for their Athletic Hall of Fame.

    1. From vagrants to hobos to the homeless to the Fire Chief’s “unhoused.”

From thugs to hooligans to gangs to Newsom’s own “groups of people.

From illegal aliens, to undocumented migrants to undocumented workers.

From criminal to felon to ex-con to “a person who is justice system impacted.”

The Left love to change the language to advance their narrative. It is fundamentally dishonest to abuse the meaning of words in this way.
