  • Has anyone seen Ja’Kobi Lane dressed and going out to football practice this week? That would be the first indicator he might play again. Same with offensive tackle Elijah Paige.

USC’s receiving corps — other than Makai Lemon — looked a lot more ordinary without Lane last weekend.

  2. Seems like a lot of injuries given that we have had a relatively light schedule. Two key offensive players and three defensive backs out. Would be nice if the coach actually answered some questions. This secrecy bit grows old and annoying.

    That difference between media spin and reality is no accident. Democrats have been rooting for decline. They want voters to feel pain so they can pin blame on Trump.

    The reality is this: The American economy under Trump in 2025 is growing, powered by consumers who are proving more resilient than the experts and pundits give them credit for. The “Trump recession” Democrats were counting on just isn’t happening.

    The left warned of economic collapse under Trump, but reality crushed its fantasy. You can bet that the mainstream media won’t credit Trump.

It’s the ideological fluff, the progressive experiments, the swamp’s gravy train that faces extinction.

        DON: The memo leaves Democrats a clear choice: pass a clean continuing resolution before the September 30 deadline, or trigger a shutdown that would unleash thousands of layoffs in the very federal workforce they claim to protect. Democrats now must weigh their obsession with expanding government handouts against the livelihoods of the bureaucracy they champion. This is Trump at his political sharpest, turning a Democrat tactic into a weapon against them.

    why is it that ohio st nor michigan play at 8 p,m on a saturday night or even a friday night? Jen Taco Lita Cohen needs to get her pie hole away from the burrito and inform the BIG10 that SC will not play that late anymore until ohio st and michigan do. 9am start is not bad. Give the rest of the day.

    1. Anyone smart enough to have noticed Joe’s dementia in 2020 could have told you we were going to be treated like an ugly red headed stepchild when it came to Big 10 scheduling. The only thing that could have helped change that was being consistently in the Top 10.

      1. KAM: It is slowly becoming obvious to all but a few remaining diehard sunshine pumpers that leaving the Pac 12 was the worst decision in the history of USC . We had it made, Kings of the West for decades and we blow it. Now we get treated like garbage by the Big 10 and we have no bargaining power like we used to in the Pac 12.

        DON: And it was the worst decision in the history of UCLA. Now they are the worst football program in Division I football with no fan base, no coach, no recruits and no way out. Pure idiocy.
