USC Notes: Eli Sanders Out For Year

As expected, USC tailback Eli Sanders will be out for the season with a knee injury.

Waymond Jordan is already out 4-6 weeks so King Miller will be the starter. Miller was named Big Ten Freshman Football Player of the Week.

  • The Big Ten fined USC $5,000 for playing running back Bryan Jackson in Saturday’s game against Michigan. Jackson was initially listed as “out” on the final injury availability report before the game and then played after Sanders and Jordan got hurt.
  • A memorial was held for George Raveling at Harold and Belles restaurant in Los Angeles last week.

Among those who attended: ex-Villanova coach Jay Wright, ex-Phoenix Suns owner Jerry Colangelo, Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison, ex-USC guard Duane Cooper, former USC guard Kyle Kazan, former USC assistant coach Jack Fertig, Clippers executive Lawrence Frank and ex-Sparks coach/USC senior associate athletic director Julie Rousseau.

  1. I like it: USC receives League Approval to play Jackson…and then gets fined $5000 dollars.

  2. What a clusterf* losing both Jordan and Sanders. Both guys were averaging around 7 yards per carry this season. It is time for King and BJackson to run wild.

      1. Is Jackson healthy enough to play? Looked good last week but if he was healthy why did Riley say that he was unable to play and absorb the fine.

    1. Great to see people finally coming home. Hamas has no bargaining chip now as they presently slaughter their own Gazan people.

  3. Well, if what idiots such as Cowardly Gabby claimed is true, Kamala should beat Gavin easily!! Because according to her, the only reason she didn’t beat Trump is because she’s a woman and Dims aren’t as misogynistic as the GOP.

  4. Why can’t USC play freshman running back Harry Dalton. Highly recruited and looked good in the first two exhibition games. Riley suggested in the post game interview that he had to play Jackson because nobody else was available. Is Dalton hurt?

      2. 56 million! Where did you get that number? I would think the entire Indian population was less than half that amount. And most Indians died from disease. I don’t think that falls into the “slaughter” category.

The average lifespan of Chumash Indians before the arrival of the Spanish was likely around 35 years.

        • Malaria and Other Mosquito-Borne Diseases: Although malaria is often associated with swampy areas, other mosquito-borne diseases could have been present.
        • Trauma and Nutritional Deficiencies: High infant mortality rates, injuries from warfare or hunting, and malnutrition due to food scarcity also contributed to the average lifespan.

In essence, the combination of these factors led to a challenging existence for the Chumash, impacting their overall health and longevity.

DON: They are much better off now. No more malaria and other insect borne diseases and much better Obstetrics care.

    1. KAM: UCLA’s Director of Race and Equity, Jonathan Perkins, faked a hate crime against himself while at the U of Virginia Law School. Incredibly enough, he was still allowed to graduate and become a full-time paid professional race baiter at UCLA making six figures a year and a huge pension for life.

Jonathan Perkins, a law student at the University of Virginia, fabricated a story about police harassment that he claimed was racially motivated. He published this account in a student newspaper, which led to a significant investigation by the university’s police department.

The investigation revealed that Perkins had made up the entire incident. He later admitted that he wrote the article to draw attention to police misconduct, stating, “The events in the article did not occur.”

Despite the seriousness of his actions, the university chose not to press charges against him.

Perkins graduated from the University of Virginia Law School despite the controversy surrounding his false claims.

Following his graduation, he became involved in race baiting discussions. His role at UCLA has drawn attention, particularly due to the nature of his past actions.

The incident raised concerns about the credibility of genuine complaints regarding racial profiling and police misconduct. Many students and faculty expressed frustration over the potential consequences of false allegations on future claims.

DON: Cowardly Gabby and Tranny Bruin must be proud!
