Clay Helton said Tuesday night “obviously any time you play a Justin Wilcox team you know the defense is going to be extremely well-coached.” Really? Then why did Helton fire Wilcox as soon as the 2015 season ended? I wasn’t a fan of Wilcox at USC but I’m not a coach like Helton. And I didn’t work with Wilcox like Helton did. So if Wilcox … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Clay Helton Created A Rivalry With Cal
I decided to sit right next to the bench at the USC basketball game Tuesday night, hoping to see Andy Enfield coach close up. They want to … Continue reading Does Anyone Care What Bowl USC Goes To?
I said this morning I would have an example of coaches looking for other jobs. I’ve heard from a source that Clancy Pendergast has put out feelers for the defensive coordinator job at Arizona. It makes sense for Pendergast because he attended Arizona. Does it make sense for Arizona? Anything is possible. Continue reading USC Rumor Of The Day
QUARTERBACK I like the way Kedon Slovis takes hits and comes back to the game after leaving. Matt Fink saved Clay Helton another time even though he could have been starting at another school. Grade: B+ RUNNING BACK Kenan Christon was way better as a receiver than a runner but some of that was the offensive line’s doing. Grade: C WIDE RECEIVER USC has good … Continue reading USC-Arizona State Report Card
