With USC ranked No. 23 in the AP Top 25 poll, it’s worth noting that since 2004, every national champion was originally ranked in the top 7. There were two exceptions: Florida State was ranked No. 11 in 2013 and Auburn was ranked No. 22 in 2010. Paul Finebaum is a big SEC fan and he’s been roasting Lincoln Riley all summer. So it’s not … Continue reading USC Notes: Bold Prediction On LSU Game
Lincoln Riley praised the defense in USC’s opening scrimmage of training camp. I mentioned a couple days ago that the defense is always ahead of the offense the first week or so of training camps. They have less to learn so it takes time for the offense to catch up. So it’s perfectly normal for him to say the defense stood out. And it would be an amazing … Continue reading Is Julian Lewis Ready To Flip?
USC is ranked No. 23 in the AP Top 25 preseason. I’m not sure why Arizona is ranked ahead of USC, unless you want to say the Wildcats’ schedule is easier. I don’t think people realize how many players left the Wildcat program in the offseason and but most voters probably just see Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan. BetOnline has Miller Moss second in its … Continue reading USC Notes: Some Respect For Miller Moss
If you like tradition, you know the Coliseum torch is usually lit during the Olympics. Especially when Los Angeles hosts the 2028 Olympics. Well, guess what. The torch wasn’t lit Friday. In fact, it wasn’t lit for other days either. I know it was lit Wednesday, at least. But it feels like it got lit when someone felt like doing it. Four-star offensive tackle Kodi … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: A Forgotten Tradition?
