Oregon State’s 83-80 upset of Arizona means the Beavers moved into a tie for last place with USC in the Pac-12 standings. Both teams are 2-6 in the Pac-12. Lincoln Riley visited high schools in Ohio, Maryland, Georgia, New Jersey and Kansas the past week. UCLA coach Mick Cronin said this to the L.A. Times on the importance of beating USC at the Galen Center: … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
USC hasn’t seen the last of Alex Grinch after all as Wisconsin hired Grinch to be its safeties coach. Did you just lose some respect for Luke Fickell? Grinch (and linebacker Tackett Curtis) return to the Coliseum on Sept. 28. If USC doesn’t win that game, there will be hell to pay on social media. Grinch inherits All-Big Ten safety Hunter Wohler and replaces safeties … Continue reading Alex Grinch Returning To Coliseum
The familiar names of the Pete Carroll coaching tree are Lane Kiffin, Ed Orgeron and Steve Sarkisian. Harbaugh … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: The Egos Have Landed
Jim Harbaugh is going to become the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Adam Schefter. Sorry Pete Carroll. More importantly, USC plays at Michigan on Sept. 21 minus Harbaugh. Not to mention all the players who left. It’s a different level of opponent. It’s going to be interesting to see who Michigan hires. If they promote assistant coach Sherrone Moore, it might hold … Continue reading USC Schedule Just Got A Little Easier
USC baseball coach Andy Stankiewicz should be demanding a contract extension. USC has 27 home games this season and 21 will be played at Orange County Great Park in Irvine; three midweek contests will be at Loyola Marymount and a three-game series against Oregon State (March 28-30) will be played at UC Irvine. USC will also practice daily at El Camino College in Torrance. This … Continue reading USC Notes: A Coach Who Deserves Contract Extension
