Now that D’Anton Lynn has been hired, the obvious follow-up needs to be brought up again. When does he start making defensive staff changes? If Lynn has any juice at all, and he shouldn’t have taken the job if he doesn’t, then he needs to start purging the defensive staff. And since I am bringing this up again, I might as well mention this: When … Continue reading It’s Time For More Staff Changes
One defense I heard about Lincoln Riley from some USC diehards (including fanboy media) was that he inherited a 4-8 team and won 11 games and it’s a long rebuild following Clay Helton. Well, look at Kalen DeBoer. He inherited a 4-8 team, has gone 24-2 and is 9-0 against ranked opponents. And he is going to the College Football Playoff. Next argument, please! The stats … Continue reading An Overdue Transfer
Nebraska announced Friday it restructured the contract of defensive coordinator Tony White, which will make him the highest-paid assistant coach in school history and third-highest-paid assistant coach in the Big Ten. White will make $1.6 million in 2024. He was paid $1 million this past season. Now the first instinct is to say this is because his name was mentioned as a candidate for the … Continue reading Nebraska DC Tony White Gets Raise, But USC Isn’t Necessarily The Reason
Baseball coach Andy Stankiewicz said in an interview USC would practice at El Camino College and play its home games at Loyola Marymount and the Great Park Baseball Complex in Irvine for the next two years. The “new” Dedeaux Field will open for the 2026 season. Now this is not what Stankiewicz said when he was hired at USC. Here’s the excert from the Los … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: The New Dedeaux Field Will Take Twice As Long To Build
