Sunday Buzz: USC Baseball On Mini-Roll

Despite all the nonsense the USC baseball team withstood this season (courtesy of its own athletic dept.), the Trojans managed to finish fourth in the Pac-12 by winning their final six conference games. Bill Lachemann, a long-time coach with the Angels, died Saturday. He was 89. He was the catcher on a team I like to write about: the American Legion team, Crenshaw Post 715, that won the national title in 1951 at Tiger Stadium.
