Sunday Buzz: USC Baseball On Mini-Roll

Despite all the nonsense the USC baseball team withstood this season (courtesy of its own athletic dept.), the Trojans managed to finish fourth in the Pac-12 by winning their final six conference games. A Legendary Baseball Team Loses A Member

Bill Lachemann, a long-time coach with the Angels, died Saturday. He was 89. He was the catcher on a team I like to write about: the American Legion team, Crenshaw Post 715, that won the national title in 1951 at Tiger Stadium. USC Morning Buzz: The New Dedeaux Field Will Take Twice As Long To Build

Baseball coach Andy Stankiewicz said in an interview USC would practice at El Camino College and play its home games at Loyola Marymount and the Great Park Baseball Complex in Irvine for the next two years.
