I didn’t hold back talking about Lincoln Riley on the Petros and Money Show on Tuesday afternoon. You can hear the lively conversation about USC football by clicking this link and going to Hour 2 at the 17:52 mark. I’m not defending Penn State coach James Franklin but the past two-plus seasons he is 28-6 overall. And remember that got him booed by some fans … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Is An Easy Job If You Don’t Mess It Up

Lincoln Riley discussed his decision to make a QB change after practice today. “It was tough,” Riley said. “It’s my job to take the emotion out of it. A course where he is co-teaching and can pretend not to make it about sports but the “entrepreneurial” mindset. Carroll was in Seattle on Friday night and met with Jen Cohen and others at a USC reception. The USC’s offensive line posted a season-high 81.0 grade vs … Continue reading USC Notes: What Will Pete Carroll Be Doing?

Has anyone heard from USC defensive line coach Eric Henderson? No sacks from his unit against Washington. Does anyone think Huskies QB Will Rogers is fast? According to Pro Football Focus, only one defensive end had a quarterback pressure against Washington (Sam Greene). Braylan Shelby (42 snaps), Jamil Muhammad (32) and Kameryn Fountain (30 snaps) combined for zero pressures. Now most of these players are … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: The Defense Rests
