Pick The USC-Maryland Score
This is the first time USC has played Maryland. But . . . USC actually practiced at Maryland in 2004 the day before it played Virginia Tech at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. USC is a 7.5-point favorite. If Lincoln Riley blows this game, he might have only Joel Klatt and Colin Cowherd behind him. So what’s your score prediction? If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
It’s pretty laughable that Lincoln Riley said recruiting in California remains priority No. 1. You think he has visited Mater Dei or any top high school in Southern California much in the past 6-7 months? If Riley wants to bend the truth, he needs to win some games because people are less forgiving with your act when you lose games. He prefers Georgia. Lincoln Riley Makes Dubious Recruiting Claim
Lincoln Riley said today that recruiting in California will always be a top priority for him and his coaching staff. That will probably come as news at Mater Dei and some other high schools. It’s obvious Riley prefers Georgia (and perhaps Texas) and that’s fine but don’t pretend like California is your top priority. USC defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn doesn’t give interesting answers to questions when he meets the press once a week. Here is what he said about having only six sacks in six games. “On my end just keep on trying to attack protections and affect the quarterback,” Lynn said. Yes, well, you haven’t done a good job of it for half a season. So what are … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: A Non-Answer To Defensive Shortcoming
USC Notes: Time For Youth Movement?
For all intents and purposes, the season’s gone in terms of real goals. So why not let Jayden Maiava play some and start using more of the freshmen. It’s likely for the younger defensive linemen, given that Anthony Lucas is out for the season. But the schedule is supposed to be easier the rest of the way and you might as well get people experience … Continue reading USC Notes: Time For Youth Movement?
USC Reacts To Embarrassing Moment
After getting embarrassed by having a Penn State fan run out of the tunnel with the Trojans on Saturday, USC has amended its policies for the run. “All participants must be in USC apparel to partake in Game Day Experiences.” Hilarious. USC didn’t make the change Monday after the Penn State participated. It did it Tuesday night after the incident went viral on social media. Continue reading USC Reacts To Embarrassing Moment
