Bill Walton Passes Away
Sad news that Bill Walton passed away at age 71 from cancer. Walton was always entertaining but no current basketball announcer knew more about the history of USC and he frequently dropped historical references when he did Trojan games. USC gave it a good run but fell short in a 4-3 loss to Arizona in the Pac-12 Championship game. It’s too bad USC wasn’t able to capitalize on a great performace by Cade Aoki, who allowed one hit in six-and-a-third innings.
