Even though the NCAA eased restrictions on the numbers of on-field coaches, Lincoln Riley has not hired a special teams coach. Rai Benjamin dominated the field in the 400-meter hurdles to win the gold medal in Paris, which was USC’s first individual gold at the Olympics. It was a good day on the track for USC as Andre De Grasse and Aaron Brown won gold for Canada in the 4×100 relay. USC Gets Silver Medal In Paris
Anna Cockrell of USC finished second in the 400-meter hurdles to win a silver medal at the Paris Olympics. It is USC’s second medal at the Olympics in track and field. Jasmine Jones of USC, who won the NCAA title this season, finished fourth. Her time of 52.29 is the fastest-ever time by a collegian on an all-dates basis.
