USC Thursday Buzz: An Oregon Response To Social Media Videos
Oregon coach Dan Lanning was asked today about recent USC social media videos taking shots at the Ducks. “No reaction. I’m much more focused on winning in the fall,” Lanning said. Winning in the fall? That’s always the last thing on the mind of USC’s social media. Continue reading USC Thursday Buzz: An Oregon Response To Social Media Videos

USC Notes: Waiting For Announcement
It is disappointing that at midday Monday, USC still has not said anything about the death of Joey Browner or published an obituary. There’s plenty of time to do social media posts mocking Oregon, but acknowledging the passing of an All-American and one of the greatest defensive backs in school history is another matter, apparently. It’s quite a contrast to the Minnesota Vikings, who not … Continue reading USC Notes: Waiting For Announcement

USC Morning Buzz: Does Anyone Defend Fans?
Has anyone (besides me) criticized Lincoln Riley for holding a scrimmage at the Coliseum this weekend without allowing fans to attend? I don’t expect the local media to hold him accountable. That’s not their style. But Riley had previously said he couldn’t hold a real scrimmage because it would also require a practice to prep for the scrimmage and he couldn’t afford to waste a … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Does Anyone Defend Fans?

He became the first defensive back selected in the first round … Continue reading USC Great Joey Browner Passes Away

Is It Time To Worry About USC Baseball?
USC is 25-3 and no one expects the Trojans to keep winning at this pace. But . . . in the past three games the Trojans’ vaunted pitching staff has surrendered 28 runs. That’s not what you want to hear with a huge three-game series against No. 1-ranked UCLA looming next weekend. Maybe the past three games was a blip. We’ll find out. But the … Continue reading Is It Time To Worry About USC Baseball?

USC Saturday Buzz: Back In The Coliseum
USC held a SCRIMMAGE today at the Coliseum with recruits and others in attendance. I keep mentioning these Saturday workouts at the Coliseum because I’m not sure what difference it would make to allow the public to attend them. Nothing top secret is happening and the fans would be fine some scrimmaging or a practice. Just something. But scrimmaging did take place today. USC women’s … Continue reading USC Saturday Buzz: Back In The Coliseum
