With Homecoming this Saturday, can anyone tell me what Lincoln Riley did to interact with alumni this week? It used to be a tradition for the football coach to attend the Homecoming rally. USC finished 18th (last place) at the recent Big Ten women’s cross country championships. I’ll bet you didn’t hear about that. After years of finishing last at the Pac-12 championships, the Trojans … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column

Shamar Arnoux, a four-star cornerback from Carrollton, Ga., flipped his commitment from USC to Auburn. This is no surprise since he is a high school teammate of quarterback JuJu Lewis. USC is now … Continue reading Lincoln Riley Loses Another Recruit

Some Big Ten teams are more equal than others. For example, Ohio State and Michigan will only play night games the final three weeks of the season, if they agree, according to the New York Post. In a peculiar arrangement, both Ohio State and Michigan have stipulations in their TV deals with Fox, CBS and NBC that they cannot be assigned to play at night … Continue reading USC Doesn’t Wield Power Of Michigan/Ohio State

Who wouldn’t love to see Lincoln Riley’s contract to see what kind of clause exists if NCAA rules are broken? Not that USC would do anything about it. The way Riley rationalized the NCAA’s findings Tuesday was the same way he rationalizes his play-calling or decision-making in games. “You see the level of penalties that were levied,” Riley said. “If it’s something serious, they’re going … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Is Lincoln Riley Too Big To Fail?
