USC baseball is going to Texas A&M for the NCAA Tournament. The other teams in the regional are Texas State and Lamar. USC will play Texas State on Friday night at 6 p.m. PT on the dreaded ESPN+. One of the nice things USC did over the years was let the Los Angeles City Section host the Open and Division 1 baseball playoff semifinals at Dedeaux Field for a reasonable price. But then Dedeaux Field got torn down and the City Section had move elsewhere. Even though the new Dedeaux Field opened this year, the baseball playoffs did not return.
