The USC band is playing all day today at Catalina island. There is a golf cart parade at 1 p.m. and a Catalina casino concert at 7:30 p.m. and then pre-and-post fireworks performances at the Wrigley stage. It’s the Fourth of July and that means time to run this wonderful color photo of the fireworks show at the Coliseum in 1964, that even lit up Mudd … Continue reading Happy Fourth Of July
USC is still recruiting former Utah guard Terrence Brown, who averaged 19.9 points last season. Brown is also considering Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon and Mississippi Former USC pitcher Caden Hunter, who was a 6th round pick of the Baltimore Orioles last year, has a 1.46 ERA for the Class A team in Frederick, Md. Does it matter USC lost Makai Lemon and Ja’Kobi Lane or are wide receivers simply a spot … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Most Valuable Player Must Also Be Most Consistent
Wide receiver Eli Woodard of Temecula, who was originally committed to USC, committed to Miami today. He also considered Cal and UCLA. He decommitted from USC because he wanted to take visits to other schools, which is against the policy of Chad “Charmin” Bowden. It would have been funny if someone like Luke Wafle had tested this policy and made other visits and then called … Continue reading An Original Commitment Makes Decision
