USC Sunday Buzz: Another Strange Game Decision

On several occasions this season, Lindsay Gottlieb has been questioned/criticized for leaving JuJu Watkins in games where USC was blowing out the opponent. But this might have been the worst moment, when Watkins was in the game Saturday with a sore ankle despite USC winning by more than 40 points. A Busy Saturday At The Galen Center

A crowd of 6,865 showed up at the Galen Center today to watch USC play North Carolina-Greensboro and Cal face Mississippi State. As I write this, the Big Ten is 19-1 in the NCAA Tournament, if you count the men’s and women’s teams. Remember, a player had formally asked to wear the hallowed number and he hadn’t done much to merit it. The roster is here. Two highly touted freshmen — QB Husan Longstreet and DE Jahkeem Stewart — will wear No. 4. Six defensive linemen will … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: A Minor Crisis Averted
