I wrote about defensive end Connor Murphy yesterday and how he has made little impact his first two seasons. Remember, this is the recruit Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh spent the night at his house on his recruiting home visit.
Well, now Murphy is moving to defensive tackle. Why? Obviously, his speed to play on the edge is an issue and he will bulk up to play inside. USC actually has quite a few tackles (Marlon Tuipulotu, Brandon Pili, Jay Tufele) so playing time is not guaranteed. But it probably is better than being buried on the edge.
Good place for him. When he played he look lost out there. This way all he has to do is hit his man in front of him
