Matt Fink threw two interceptions and nearly had a third pass picked off during USC’s third practice. Jack Sears did not practice because he was a groomsmen in Andrew Voorhes’ wedding. So here’s the first week interception tally:

Matt Fink: 3

Jack Sears: 1

JT Daniels: 0

Daniels is not practicing obviously. But I list him because I can tell you Clay Helton expects him to start next season.

Here’s a quote from John Baxter: “The thing this spring is, how do you win a playoff game?”

Maybe USC needs to figure out how to make the playoff first. But Baxter had an answer for that.

“If we didn’t mess up the Washington State game, we’re probably in,” he said.
