The Pac-12 Network will televise the “USC Spring Football Showcase” on April 14 at 12 p.m. from Cromwell Field. This is what used to be the spring game but Clay Helton doesn’t really do a spring game. He does a glorified practice.
To the Pac-12 Network’s credit, all 12 spring games (practices) will be on its network. It will be interesting to see how many schools do an actual game.
To sum up: A mock practice I don’t want to watch will be on a network I don’t get.
