Cornerback Jonathan Lockett, who missed last season following hip surgery, nearly had an interception at today’s practice. Lockett is important because he provides depth at corner and started a few games in 2016. I don’t remember him being any worse than some of the players who started last season.

Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson, a former USC assistant, was at USC to watch practice and will be at Pro Day tomorrow. The Browns have the No. 1 pick. Of course, it won’t be Jackson who decides whether the Browns keep the pick or draft Darnold.

There were six NFL teams who had people at today’s practice. All 32 teams will be at Pro Day.
