Former USC guard Paul Westphal will be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2018 class. The ceremony will be held Nov. 18, the day before USC plays in the Hall of Fame Classic. Texas Tech, Nebraska and Missouri State are the other teams in the tournament but no announcement has been made about who USC plays in the first game.

And while we are thinking about, now that Jordan McLaughlin has completed his eligibility, USC should permanently retire No. 11. It was retired in honor of Bill Sharman, but brought out of retirement for McLaughlin.
