Former USC tailback Ronald Jones has rushed for 11 yards in 12 carries in two preseason games for Tampa Bay.
But his pass-catching remains a big issue. Here is what Tampa Bay running backs coach Tim Spencer told ESPN:
“In college, there was probably a reason why he was only thrown the ball 17 times.”
Spencer added, “He’s never going to be the best catching guy on the team, but he certainly can improve on catching the balls that we want to throw to him — especially the routes that we have.”

Didn’t have a problem in the game vs longhorns last year. If I remember right he managed to hold on to one just before halftime.

Indeed he did and he turned it into one of my favorite highlights from last season.

Yeah but not as good as Christian Rector stripping that ball in the 2nd OT.

The Rector strip was nice! The Darnold jump pass to Carr was also great. Several memorable moments from a relatively low scoring game.
