USC Morning Buzz: The Not-So Special Teams Continue

I’ve heard USC had nine players on at least one and maybe two kick returns against Texas.

This reminds me of two years ago, when USC had eight players on the field for a Stanford extra point. And 10 on at least one other kick in that game.

    What do you make of the fact that Chris Hawkins – a super-respected player and alum – defends Clay Helton to the hilt? He’s got Clay’s back all the way. What is it that you don’t know that he knows?

  2. These are college kids we can’t expect them to remember their assignments. And if you were saying this about our punting, I would agree we haven’t sent a punter out on the field yet.
