Why is Clay Helton suddenly closing practices Tuesday and Wednesday except for the first 20 minutes?
Maybe he is tired of hearing that practices are not physical enough and do not have enough tackling.
Of course, Helton is probably also doing it because he doesn’t want to be questioned about anything but the tackling issue has been around for several years. And if reporters are not there, they will simply hear players say, “we are tackling a lot.”
Note: Thursday practices were already closed to the media last year so about 40 minutes a week will be open this season.

Do you actually think Clay Helton could ever win 10 games at a school like Mississippi State? His Dumb Ass has all the resources in the world at USC, and he’s struggling as if he’s coaching at Nowhere A&M . Dan Mullen will win a championship at some point, with the resources he has at Florida
