A representative for USC president Carol Folt claims the Salute to Troy dinner will resume next year.
I wonder if anyone has informed Lynn Swann? And if it did return, what a slap in the face to the 1969 team did not get a proper 50th anniversary reunion this summer. I expect Folt to order Swann to do something during the regular season.
- So last week USC men’s tennis coach Peter Smith, who won five NCAA titles, resigned. But I’ve heard from several sources that Smith had to sign an agreement to agree not to discuss his departure so that his two sons could go to USC on scholarship.

SC needs more clarity, and fewer nondisclosure agreements.
Folt needs to shake things up. Is she capable of that?

Give her a break she started in July. There was a lot on her plate that wasn’t football related. She has acknowledged the clusterfuck for this year. What else can she do in the few days she has to repair the damage?
I can make one thing that makes sense, but I hate sounding like a broke record.

As usual, Lynn Swann is the Teflon man, and unless he does something outrageous moving forward, he’ll probably be the Athletic Director as long as he wants to be. So If Clay Helton can squeak out a 6 win season, then his job will be safe too. Because Swann doesn’t want to look like a fool from that extension he gave to Hollow Head Helton. #carolfaultistonedeaftoo

Folt needs to lay off the bong and get Salute To Troy back this year. Let her earn her paycheck. Why does SC have to wait until next year? This is not good enough.
