Talanoa Hufanga had his third interception of training camp as he picked off a JT Daniels pass and went 50 yards for a TD at today’s practice.
Jack Sears threw a 50-plus yard TD pass to Devon Williams.
But the QB competition is over.

That makes at least 9 INT’s thrown by J.T. Daniels in just 5 days of practice and he’s going against a depleted secondary that consists of 2 pottential starters.
And J.T. Daniels has a full year of being the starting QB under his belt.
J.T. Daniels should enter the portal.
USC is just too big a stage for this guy Daniels…if he doesn’t have it, he doesn’t have it and it’s now safe to say he doesn’t have it.

Watching KK and AZ look like shit with their air aid offense. If this is what we are in for maybe we beat ucla. That’s it. God they looked bad. GH is second choice ti KK. We are in for a long, hard ride.

Wouldn’t it be something if J.T. loses the QB derby and enters the transfer portal. Then Clay gets canned midway through the season and gets hired as a CFB assistant somewhere leading J.T. to follow him there next year.

I hope that Helton pulls a Pete Carroll or that it works out for him like it did for Pete and the team. I thought that Carroll’s best staff hire was Norm Chow. I remember salivating at the thought of a BYU- style offense ( the one run under LaVell Edwards) led by Chow leading the SC offense with SC athletes and thought to myself how unstoppable the team would be. Similarly, Helton has hired a respectable, though far less proven, OC who could unleash a devastating offensive onslaught with an arsenal of top athletes at his disposal. For this to take place, however, Helton has to make the right call at QB like Carroll did. It was gutsy for Carroll to name Leinart the starter over the likes of Matt Cassel and the highly touted transfer from Purdue via Woodland Hills Taft , what’s his name?, but Carroll did. Does Helton have the guts to do so is the big question.

Fresno State Football players are licking their chops, and can’t wait to go up against JT Daniels. The bulldogs upset UCLA, and Arizona State last season , and are looking forward to upsetting USC

JT is not only the best QB on the team, but he is the best player. He will be the highest drafted player and have the most productive NFL career. This year he will be pac12 offensive player of the year. Next year he will be a heisman finalist. His skill set with this offense and talent will break every USC passing record.
