Does Ed Orgeron know how to troll USC or what? He posted pictures with John Robinson and Kenechi Udeze today on twitter. Hopefully he can hire Clay Helton as an offensive analyst in about 2 months.

    1. I cut J-Rob some slack since he is over 80.

      On the other hand, Chip Kelly can’t be more than mid-late 50s. Chocolate Chip would qualify for DD cups.

      2. Michael, if you are still on this post, my view is that one of the most negatives of what has happened at SC is the wholesale dispensing of Trojan family. IMO, Udeze was thrown under the bus. If he is good enough for Orgeron and LSU, he should be good enough for anywhere. What comes across from Helton is a combination of feel-good half truths and coaching staff rotations to try to save his hide.

      3. Yes indeed, Michael. J-Rob not only is one of the top 3 SC coaches in our lifetime, but is a damn good person. And as loyal as the day is long. All those guys in the photo should be wearing cardinal and gold, and not purple.

  4. proof SC admin does not want SC football to be anything but mediocre at best is the choice of hellton over ‘O’ …Ed proved himself so they chose the pseudo coach.

  6. You can thank that drunk Haden for ED O wearing purple and not taking SC back to prominence, all because Ed O wasn’t Drunk Haden’s kinda guy, so he hired a philandering drunk in his place and replaced him with a clown named Gomer Bozo

    1. I think we are so starved for anything resembling the days of old we forget that Coach O hasn’t ever really won anything. Better than our guy, but we need to shoot higher.

      Chris Peterson was a huge swing and miss. He would have us rolling.

      1. Losing a game doesn’t bother me if USC plays tough hard – nosed football and goes down swinging. EdO may not have won at other places but he still symbolizes what a tough assistant coach USC used to have. I’m not saying he is the only one out there. He’s just the one recent guy USC fans can point to.

      3. If Peterson was as touted he would have either nailed that interview with Haden or forced Haden to get look of any ‘hunch’ about Sarkisian. Peterson didn’t want the pressure of the USC job and he REALLY didn’t want the press attention.

  8. Clay Helton will never coach after he gets fired at USC, because he’ll never uproot his family from Palo Verdes, for a figureheads salary…. I guarantee!!!
