USC Morning Buzz: Quarterback Talk

Mater Dei QB Bryce Young started off his season completing 19 of 26 passing for 191 yards and three TDs.

It was about a year ago when a friend told me Mater Dei coach Bruce Rollinson said (at a USC game no less) that Young was better than JT Daniels.

At the time, I thought Rollinson was just trying to support his current quarterback. But after seeing Daniels last season, I’m not even moved by his comment that Young is better.

    1. 80% of the tackles he’s in on, he’s assisting.

Flowes teammates are making the initial contact and he’s coming in after the fact.

I wouldn’t go all out recruiting this kid Flowe…don’t believe the hype. He’s not all that.

      1. I’ve heard his name, but hadn’t seen him play until you posted that. Thanks for putting that clip up. However, I don’t know if I could disagree with you more as that kid looks like a young Lawrence Taylor to me.

  1. Why you hate some quasi teenager is disturbing, Wolfe. Did he turn you down at a rest stop one time? It’s pathological.

  2. Let’s hope SC doesn’t lose Bryce Young because of all this praise of Kedon Slovis. They’re probably going to have to recruit another QB this year because they will probably lose 2 QB’s next year.
