JT Daniels’ Heisman Odds Are What??

I will show you USC’s updated odds to win the Pac-12 and national title from BetOnline, but first, the odds for JT Daniels to win the Heisman Trophy are 25/1.

Say what? Who set the odds? His father?

OK, if you are a huge Air Raid fan, these odds seem very generous. Even the Daniels’ defenders did not note any great improvement from him during training camp. A real quarterback, Trevor Lawrence of Clemson, is the favorite at 5/2. Full odds at bottom.

Now, USC odds to win the Pac-12 are 8/1. USC’s odds to win the national title are 100/1. It was 80/1 in January.

And if it weren’t for the fact that he was surrounded with all the high school talent in the south land, he’d be fighting for a position at El Camino College…. FACT !! #justkeepingitreal

  6. Preseason is just that before anything happens. However unless USC has been rope-a-doping in practice and media coverage, and we all know the current staff doesn’t have the gravitas to pull that off, then our odds for the national title are about right. It is still sad that we must suffer the throws of having unqualified people filling professor roles at the university. As much as I like Brutus Thornapple (look it up) as head coach, I have reconciled to the fact that we are again headed for a long season and a longer holiday season with no place to go.

  7. Quarterbacks usually win it. Daniels has got a pile of quarterbacks in front of him, but he plays for a traditional power that has a chance to rebound this year….What is more puzzling is the drop of 80 to 1 to 100:1 to win the national title. Looks like the bettors abandoned SC

  8. This is what I am hoping for: Danield hurts his mustache and is out for the season. helton pleads, begs, and on his knees is crying to Sears to start. Sears starts and he wins the Heisman. I can dream can’t I?

  9. No one would bet if they put out the real odds. It’s a perfect 25/1. Tons of people will put $5 on it. Gambling is solely to make money and the odds are set that way for marketing.
