      1. gt —No worries. That cyst has been thoroughly drained and vacuumed by doctors (not currently under investigation) from the USC Medical Center …

  1. Why would anyone consider Urban Liar to be the coach at USC
He attempted to lie his way our of the cheating at he 2 schools when he was the coach
Maybe he was forced out of Ohio State rather than resigned

    1. His health forced him out. Does SC wants a coach who collapsed on the sideline last October during the Indiana game? Surely there are some excellent head coaching candidates available who are healthy and younger.

  2. Chris Petersen has the inside track on all other coaches. No scandals at Boise State or Washington. This guy can coach players who are not 4 and five star and make them winners. Petersen is a U.C. Davis graduate, won a National Championship at U.C. Davis, was quarterback of the team, and Folt and Roberts are U.C. Davis grads.

    1. My gawddamn sister is a graduate of Davis. Maybe she should be considered. If Peterson trades his NW life for sunny California then I am the Pope.

Maybe at 6-8large per year. Otherwise…well…bring him. We beat his 4* last two years. Might as well make it a yearly reunion. In fact, I like Peterson.

      1. CAL Seventy Five,

If you become Pope, I will be your pope mobile driver. Unlike the pope, there have been two popes at one time. But, there is only one pope mobile driver. Yes, I have experience in driving, I drive from Pasadena to LAX every day and I have driver over 1.7 million miles in my life time being a Real Estate Appraiser and Sales. I have driven over a 1,000 miles in one day going up to Fairfield and other stops to appraise and returning the same day. Yes, I am a practicing Catholic. I am perfect for the job.

        I am your man.

  3. What about Jack Del Rio?

If there is anyone out there who truly, truly wants the job it is Jack Del Rio. He’s been networking behind the scenes gladhanding anyone and everyone who might have a say. Any of those other guys might need to be enticed to leave and/or come to L.A.

JDR wants the job like no other. He’s just biding his time to make his pitch when the time is right.

      1. No.

I think he is a realistic hire that isn’t as bad as some people make him out to be.

  4. Urban Meyer is a great candidate simply because he knows that there is no longer any margin for error. He has to be clean, and stay clean, if he expects to enjoy a coaching career of longevity.

  5. I’d love to see what David Shaw could do without all of the academic restrictions. And btw, the PAC 12 needs to get away from the Mike Gundy, and Cliff Kingsbury type of coaches, because they’re all about entertainment, not national championships
