USC has hired Paul Perrier as deputy athletic director. He was senior associate athletic director at Rutgers but previously worked in compliance at USC, where he worked with interim A.D. Kedon Slovis is not medically cleared to practice or play and did not participate Tuesday. Clay Helton confirmed what I reported last night that safety Talanoa Hufanga is in concussion protocol.
