When Will USC-UCLA Kick Off?

The Pac-12 will not announce the kickoff time for the USC-UCLA game until Sunday.

Here are the potential TV times:

ESPN 4:30 p.m.

ESPN 12:30 p.m.

ESPN/Fox Sports 7:30 p.m.

The other available games are Utah-Arizona; Oregon-Arizona State and Washington-Colorado.

I could see the USC-UCLA game getting the 12:30 p.m. slot but who knows if ESPN wants it there?

Free advice for Clay Helton: (Having just watched your remarks about “ALWAYS being pleased with Coach Baxter” after a game in which Arizona State AVERAGED 40 yards on kick off returns) —-if your contract with your assistant coaches is “I won’t criticize you if you won’t criticize me”, it might be easier on the ears of your listeners to simply say “I don’t critique my assistants in public”……

  2. What was once one of the top 5 games in the country, along with SC-ND, Neb-Okl, Ohio St – Michigan, Alabama-Auburn, now can’t even get a starting time less than 2 weeks out, and might play second or third fiddle to some mediocre at best Pac-12 game(s).

    Can’t overstate just how much of a decline this is. Both programs (SC and ucla) are at fault.

      1. sucla is not beating Utah short of the Utes’ quarterback and running back getting arrested and imprisoned just prior to kickoff.

  4. It is reported from HH this afternoon, Pres. Folt has had a long discussion with AD Bohn and members of the search committee, demanding that they include in the search NFL Assistant coaches, her recommendations were to interview Arizona Cardinals Jennifer Welter and 49 er’s Assistant Katie Sowers.

  6. If UCLA and SC win, I think they’d get the 1230 slot. After all, it will be for the coveted PAC 12 South Championship.

  7. So if Ucla beats Utah, and SC beats Cal, then they play each other for PAC12 south. The game would have some appeal nationally, but the PAC 12 will boot the chance.

  8. There is no enthusiasm for SC and for the last couple of years. 7:30 time slot is horrible and the 12:30 pm slot is too early. Just get the season over with. If Helton is the coach on the following Monday, then next season is ruined. They need to hire the new coach by Sunday after the game. That way he can get the recruits back to SC before Dec 18.
