Well said. As much as it’s going to suck moving forward, I’ll watch. I’ll root. Is there a mess? Hell yeah. But as an alumni of a once proud university and football program, I’ll continue to support through rooting and watching the team. Even if I don’t agree with the recent decisions.
04 –I like what Bourbon suggested: Bohn goes out & gets the best Coordinators available, pays them top dollar and gives the job to one of them if USC doesn’t look competitive in it’s first couple of games….

Yeah, anyone claiming no one will watch or no one cares is completely CLUELESS. Fools think that because they want to throw a childish tantrum because things didn’t happen the way they wanted, that everyone else feels the same way. Their parents failed miserably in rearing them.
Another game to watch before the long hiatus . Trojan healthy for a
change at TB and WR should score a good amt. of points with Slovis.
Extra practices helpful for next season to gain experience. Nothing
else going on with Trojan athletics except basketball.
Hanging with the team – stand by them and look forward to a new staff in place a year hence. In the meantime – stand by Illium against the horde from Hellas.
You guys are all living in a fantasy world. They wouldn’t pay for Stoops assistants so now all of a sudden they are going to pay top dollars for Helton who has been here
for over 4.5 years. I don’t think so. But all you guys can put it down on your Christmas list to Santa! Coming from a 40 year USC Trojans fan. Who sat in the rain with my brothers at the Freedom bowl, Anaheim stadium against Fresno st. 24-7 humiliation that night. The worse part was waiting for pops to come pick us up at the McD’s after the game. Place was full of bulldog fans we had to stand their and take it. Im not just some troll I’ve endured some good and bad times with my fanfest for USC. Just can’t enable the incompetence that has become USC right not. Fight on!
Let’s put it this way, trojanboogs: that wasn’t USC’s toughest team. As I recall we were doing just fine until it started to rain —and the USC players saw their uniforms getting muddier after every tackle. That’s when the game turned.

What are you taking about GM it rained all day that day that’s how we scored free tickets. We found out when were going when my dad surprised us after work. Tell me you were being sarcastic about USC not prepared for the rain.
Remember me telling Pudly earlier that I misremembered more stuff than most people bothered to learn….
#Well,YouJustGotToSeeMeInAction
{But, seriously, was it raining during the first quarter? Jog my failing memory]….
MG, I don’t see Bohn going out and getting top assistants. That’s supposed to be Helton’s job. But who’s going to come in with maybe a one year deal? Same problem as last year. It’s all just a mess. I will continue to put up my flag outside my house on game days, I will watch, and I will root for my USC Trojans. But last week was botched. Whether it was money and/or the willingness of an elite head coach to come in on their terms, last week was a mess. USC is not the USC it once was. That is disgustingly obvious.
THe Hawkeyes have a disciplined, ball hawking pass defense which will give us fits. This will be the possibly the best pass defense we compete against this year. Kirk F is an underappreciated HC, overshadowed by the big names in the BIg14.
#12 defensive efficiency per FPI. Harrell and CO will have played against 6 top 20 defenses in 12 games. A nice test of your skill set. I don’t know where Iowa’s run defense is rated, but they usually are tough at the point of attack.
I think that their offense is mediocre, which means that they will put points up on CP’s D. Ordinarily they would struggle to score 24 pts–I give em 28. If the Trojans can score 31, I get a nice shot of bourbon back at the hotel. Fight On!.
This game is gonna represent a VERY stiff test Bourbon. Iowa has one of the BEST offensive lines and secondaries in the Big Ten….and probably the second or third best coach. I have real doubts as to whether Helton can get us ready for this game with all the behind the scenes stuff going on. Nothing he has showed us yet makes me feel good about this game….

HC CH gets to make a statement–with early signing before Christmas and with Trojan prep for our “third home stadium” (yikes).
Everyone will have fresh legs, final exams over.
All the dinged up players will be fresh.
Lots of reps for the offense’s skill players and lots of reps for our DB’s.
No excuse for HC CH nor the Trojans.
P76. Were most of the personel fouls & foolish sideline lack of discipline the last 2yrs almost all defensive players? I don’t remember one by an offensive player.
75:
Ordinarily I don’t watch the Bears much, but you and Wilcox have me intrigued, so I’ll be watching the Red Box bowl, and of course hoping for a victory. Wilcox is a smart OC away from consistent 9-10 win seasons. I’d love to see him knock WSU, OSU (and even Stanfurd) back down where they belong. UW might have troubles with their new transition, No?
Time for the fighting Wilcox’s to seize their opportunity.
I don’t know what the score will be vs Iowa but one thing that I am very certain about is at least 12 penalties for about 130 yards. Two or 3 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. 3-4 turnovers and at least 10 missed tackles. That is what we can expect every game from a Helton coached team. And if we somehow win, it will be despite all of this. Lack of discipline, non physical, finesse football.
There is a way for the fans to win here. First bet on SC to beat the spread. Then convince Helton the best thing for the University is for the team to forfeit (lose by 2 points) we beat the spread and clean up at the betting cage. Finally use the money earned to buy Helton out. Problem solved.
I like your motivation as a fan; to get the clueless one out of town by any extremes necessary! I might take you up on that offer just so I will have some interest in the freakin Holliday bowl yikes! How far a once great football program has fallen. 10 years now and counting.
Who gives a rats ass about the spread. Nobody is going to watch anyways. Nobody cares about USC football until Helton,Bohn, and Folt are gone!
