USC Morning Buzz: Graduate Transfer Updates

Former USC QB Jack Sears is visiting Virginia after visiting Northwestern earlier in the week.

Virginia has six quarterbacks on its roster. Whether any of them are good is another matter.

Maybe new USC defensive line coach Vic So’oto knows since he was at Virginia. The Cavs signed a trio of three-star defensive linemen under So’oto this recruiting class but I’m sure it will be easier for him to recruit at USC.

  • Forward Patrick Tape of Columbia will visit USC this weekend. Tape, who is 6-foot-10, averaged 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds last season and is currently redshirting. He visited Maryland last week and is also considering Syracuse.

  1. So’oto might be a really good recruiter if he is able to get 3 stars at UVA.

    So’Oto tweeted we had an unofficial visit from top 300 Tiaoalii Savea (OL) yesterday. Really could use him. Already 6’5″ and 250 lbs as a jr.
