Scott Wolf- is a true Trojan. No one understands USC better than this guy, and one of the reasons the athletic department has hit rock bottom is because they got rid of the people who really knew what this university is all about. No question he should be out next SID when Tim T retires in January.

USC should be embarrassed College Game Day is at UCLA today, and more hype for the UCLA football program happen today when UCLA beats Oregon on national TV.
Final Score Predictions:
UCLA – 35
Oregon- 21
Chip is riding high unfortunately due to our incompetence in the athletic dept., and on the football field.

Utah vs the Beavs in Corvallis is also an interesting match up.
If Jonathan Smith “is for real,” then he dials up a victory vs the old guy, Wittingham.
(Best thing that happened to Utah was having Charlie Brewer–a portal guy–quit the team so Cam Rising (sp) could take the helm.)
If Smith cannot dial up a “W” at home with his rebuilt program…?

Agreed. TODAY (and November 27th —Oregon) are make it or break it days for Jonathan Smith.

The teams you’re referring to had something that Helton couldn’t (or wouldn’t) assemble –it’s called an o-line.
For the hell of it I took a look at Phil Steele’s rankings for the individual o- line players scheduled to start for USC in September (these rankings are based on their performance out of high school —of course, they’ve all regressed since then):
