Pick The USC-Arizona Score

Arizona is awful. And nothing surprises me where USC is concerned.

So who to pick today?

With Arizona losing 19 straight games, they are bound to win at some point. I have no faith in Jedd the Fisch, however.

USC should be able to win without even giving a full effort, which is normal for the Trojans.

I’m taking USC, 31-20.

    1. MG – The technical issues with this site (now not only requiring login every time just to “like” or to comment, but now not even posting comments when doing so) are probably going to ‘disappear’ me for a while, but had to touch base with you on another “Herms goes ‘Forks Down'” episode – and that is what it would be like with Franklin and perhaps all of the other named candidates other than the non-candidate Peterson (except 7-5/8-4 would be 9-3)…Wazzou…no staff…made Daniels look awful…well, go Trojans, make hay against the Mildest of Cats…

  3. 1. Well Dave Aranda’s stock is rising at 7-1, while Suckissian is officially on the hot seat at 4-4. BTW, I’m on the record as saying we should go after him if Fickell won’t come.

    2. Fickell still undefeated even though it has been ugly the last 2 weeks. But even PC’s teams would have a few ugly wins per year.

    3. Cristobal, Whittingham, and Shaw remain the class of the PAC-12 should the Bohner want to raid a rival school and thus weaken a rival while upgrading from Gomer.

    4. Campbell at Iowa St lost a game he should have won. PJ at Minn. won big. Mel Tucker at Mich St. is working his way into the conversation.

    1. Even though Campbell’s team tanked on the road in Morgantown, I still think he is a good coach and would take it to the other coaches in the Pac 12.

      1. Aranda–nice win vs UT and the Sarks. He’s been my #1 since December 2019. Fickell is not coming to USC & there is no Santa Claus.
      2. Campbell–has a big buyout I think. Better than most coaches in the Pac 12. Plays tough games vs Iowa, OU, OSU, Texas, KSU every year.
I’m not entirely sure he’d want to come to USC anyway.
      3. Cristobal/Whitt/Shaw–I just don’t see any of them taking a step down to resuscitate a lackluster program with no fans showing up for a Homecoming (sure win) game. Shaw has a losing season despite about $10mill per year salary. I’m not buying him. Cristobal might take the Dux to the CFP and has no challenge recruiting the best players in So Cal. My advice to Mario would be to sit tight in Oregon and find a good OC.
      4. I’ve not favored PJ Fleck, but he might take the Gophers to the B1G champ game. Gonna cost a lot of money for an “unproven” coach.
